Meet Haeccity Studio Architecture
Haeccity Studio is a full-service AIBC-registered architecture firm in Vancouver, working across housing, commercial projects, public art, and policy planning.
Their early multiplex thinking won the 2018 Urbanarium Missing Middle competition, and they followed it with a 2019 City of Vancouver Award of Merit for the heritage revitalization Cambie Apartments project.
Their C-Plex design — six ground-oriented units around a central courtyard — is part of the City of Burnaby Housing Design Library and is one of the better-documented multiplex prototypes for larger BC lots.

Why work with Haeccity
01
Published, peer-reviewed multiplex thinking
Few BC firms have as much publicly-available multiplex IP — Urbanarium-winning entries, the C-Plex prototype, policy + planning consulting work all on the studio site.
02
Heritage + infill specialty
The Cambie Apartments project shows fluency with heritage-protected stock — relevant if your lot has a retainable existing house that wants to become part of a multiplex.
03
Squamish + Burnaby experience, not just Vancouver
Projects in the Squamish Multiplex and Burnaby Housing Library expand the firm’s footprint beyond CoV — useful as Bill 44 multiplex rolls out province-wide.
