Meet Oakwyn Realty
Oakwyn Realty opened in 2013 (first as Opus Realty) and rebranded to Oakwyn in 2015. Co-founders Morgan Browne and Michael Uy built it as an agent-first brokerage on Vancouver's West Side, with its main office at 3195 Oak Street.
The brokerage grew from one Vancouver office to a dozen across BC. It added North Vancouver and Downtown Vancouver branches in 2017, a Vancouver Island branch in 2020, and an Okanagan office in 2021. Offices now run in Vancouver, North Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Langley, Kelowna, Vernon, Kamloops, Nanaimo, Cumberland, and Victoria.
Oakwyn is a member of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, a referral network of independent brokerages. The brokerage made the Globe and Mail's Canada's Top Growing Companies list for three years in a row, 2020 through 2022.
For a multiplex project, the relevant point is the roster. Oakwyn carries roughly 700 agents, and individual teams handle multi-family, presale, and investment work. The Place Real Estate Team is one of the larger Oakwyn teams active in those categories. A multiplex seller or buyer would work with a specific agent or team, not the brokerage as a whole.
