How The Tri-Cities and Ridge Meadows breaks down

This is the only part of the region outside Vancouver and Burnaby where a meaningful amount of newly built ground-oriented housing sits near rapid transit. The Millennium Line's Evergreen extension serves Burquitlam, Moody Centre, Inlet Centre, Coquitlam Central, Lincoln, and Lafarge Lake-Douglas.

The West Coast Express adds Port Moody, Coquitlam Central, Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, Maple Meadows, and Port Haney, though on a weekday commuter schedule rather than an all-day service.

Prices fall as you move east. Coquitlam prices above Port Coquitlam, which prices above Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, and the homes generally get larger in the same direction.

Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows are thin markets. Albion in Maple Ridge is the largest single pocket, and even that is modest by regional standards.

Rapid transit

Rapid transit is close but generally beyond an easy walk from most homes here. Expect to drive, cycle, or take a bus to the station.
