Meet My House Design/Build/Team
My House Design/Build/Team is a design and build firm working across Greater Vancouver, Surrey, Langley, and the Gulf Islands. The team runs design, construction, and interior decorating under one roof, so a client deals with a single firm from feasibility through completion.
Founder Graeme Huguet started in theatre and television design before moving into construction, where he has worked for about 30 years. He built the company around a four-phase process: feasibility, design, construction, and completion. The firm now has a team of roughly 50 people across design, production, build, and administration, including registered interior designers (RID, NCIDQ), a LEED AP, and staff with Building Code accreditation.
The firm builds custom homes and also lists laneway and carriage homes and duplex/multi-family construction as service lines, which covers the small-scale density work behind a multiplex project. The team are certified Built Green builders, a BC Housing licensed residential builder, and a Baeumler Approved contractor.
My House has won more than 50 Georgie Awards, five CHBA National SAM Awards, and five GVHBA RenOvation Awards. It was named Residential Renovator of the Year at the 2025 Grand Georgie Awards and the 2023 Grand HAVAN Awards.
