Meet Allegiant Inspections

Allegiant Inspections is a North Vancouver home inspection firm founded by Victoria Ballantine in 2019. Ballantine holds a Certified Home Inspector designation through the Carson Dunlop program and is licensed by Consumer Protection BC (CPBC #80437).

Before inspecting homes, Ballantine spent more than 25 years in construction and ran her own construction company. She holds a B.A. from Simon Fraser University and is a member of the Home Inspectors Association BC (HIABC).

The firm covers pre-purchase, pre-listing, new home, maintenance, and occupancy walk-through inspections. Each inspection looks at the foundation, structure, roof, electrical, plumbing, and other visible systems, and checks for issues like faulty wiring, mold, and roof leaks.

Reports are delivered as digital documents, usually within 24 hours of the inspection, and come with a homeowner reference library and suggested maintenance schedule. Ballantine is a past president of the BNI Lions Gate chapter.

Why work with Allegiant

01

Construction background, not just a checklist

Ballantine built homes and ran a construction company for 25-plus years before becoming an inspector. On a multiplex purchase or a new-build sign-off, that background helps read framing, foundation, and roof work for what it is.

02

Covers new builds and occupancy walk-throughs

Beyond pre-purchase, Allegiant does new home inspections and occupancy walk-throughs. Useful when taking possession of a newly completed multiplex unit and you want a second set of eyes before final acceptance.

03

Fast digital reports

Inspection reports are sent digitally, typically within 24 hours, with a homeowner reference library and a maintenance schedule attached. Quick turnaround matters when a subject-removal deadline is days away.
